New Kimono, New Look♡
Before the weather gets too warm, I really wanted to wear my new kimono I bought last month.

"Moonlight" kimono designed by Aya Hasegawa from "Barairo".

It's full of my favorites♡
Cats, stars, leopard, flowers....
Couldn't think of myself not having this kimono!

And also this is the first time to wear this obi.
Lime yellow obi made of silk kimono fabric.

The total look is a collection of my favorite creators.
Obiage is also new from my last kimono shopping and also made by Barairo.

Lime yellow of the obi matches perfectly with the lining.

Total look.

Zouri★

The weather on this day was actually a bit too hot for this kimono so I went out in the evening.
Too bad that I didn't have any special reason to wear this kimono this time. But I decided to visit my favorite Mexican restaurant in the town I used to live in.
It had been 4-5 years since I went there last, so I was so happy to see the re-opened restaurant and the owner couple.

Had some good Mexican food and beer in kimono.
He makes the best chili beans and guacamole♡

So the summer is coming and it is going to be after 4 months until I can wear this kimono again. Maybe for my birthday in October???
Looking forward to it already.

My cousin's wedding day♪
Last year, my brother and my cousin got married and our family on my mother's side has been growing★ I've been very happy to welcome new family members.

My cousin and his wife are based in Hyogo prefecture so all the relatives gathered in Kobe for his wedding.

My traditional semi-formal look that I inherited from my mother.

My grandmother ordered this kimono for my mother when she was in 20's.
Beautiful chrysanthemum.

This obi was made to match the kimono.

Inside the changing room....
It is really rare for me to wear a fukuro obi so I forgot how to tie it.
After I finished wrapping myself in the kimono, I called my grandmother for help and she tied it for me perfectly.

Tying a 4 meter long obi is too much work....
Thank you, Grandma♡

Only whitish zouri that I have....

I added some modern feeling to the total look with green accents of kasane-eri (additional collar) and obiage.
For my ring finger (of my right hand), the coral ring my grandmother gave me.
It matches perfectly with the kimono and obi.

The wedding ceremony and reception were beautiful and heartwarming.
My cousin's family is very big so that all the guests on groom's side were relatives. It was nice like we were having a big family reunion.

Happy wedding♡
