::Space Jungle::

日本語ver. → こちら

Last weekend was 4 days holidays called "Silver Week".
Heard many people planned domestic trips with families because of the "Go-To Travel" campaign and hotels in provinces were mostly booked.
Have you travelled recently?

I have some other trips planned next month, so I stayed in Tokyo and went to Ginza in kimono with my new friends.

Why Ginza? Since Ginza Six opened, I really wanted to visit Jotaro Saito.
They have a cafe inside the shop and their ice cream bars and parfait desserts are so beautiful and photogenic.

September is a season of hitoe kimonos.
Every year I don't get to wear all of my hitoe kimonos in this short season. This one with emerald splash has been sleeping inside my closet for a long time.

Small items: collar, obiage, and obijime.

For a casual effortless look, I tied this jungle obi loosely.

This hairdo is my recent favorite! This is super easy and takes just 5mins to create.

TOTAL LOOK.

This is "Jewerly Dessert", their signature desert♡
They change their menu by season, so you can enjoy seasonal fruits every time you visit.
This one was made with huge grapes called "Nagano Purple".
It was so delicious with varieties of flavors mixed inside the wine glass.
Definitely wanna take my friends there again for tea dates.

::Late Summer Lily::

日本語 ver. → こちら

Typhoons tell us the autumn is already here but it turns hot like summer a day or two after they are gone. Last weekend, the weather was really unstable for two huge typhoons coming close to the islands.

I had a party at a hotel in Yokohama last Sunday and decided to wear the same washable semi-formal kimono again just in case.

The party was so much fun and exciting with amazing food and wines.
We were so lucky to have some extraordinary time during this pandemic.

The same kimono as the previous look from the night at Westin Tokyo, but I changed the obi and other little things.

Otaiko :)
Haven't done this traditional tie for a while but managed to make it look perfect with a secret tip I learned from some tutorial on YouTube.

Late lilies in amethyst.

Photo taken by my friend.

I saw about 6 women in kimonos at the party that night. It's great to see more people wear kimono for semi-formal occasions like this.

Here is the previous look in the same kimono↓

This one is the summer party look with the same obi exactly one year ago at the party. ↓
