::Mood after Halloween::

日本語ver. → こちら

Feels like it is already winter! Where did autumn go?
I have some favorite tailored collar jackets to wear in autumn but missed a chance to wear them!

Leaves already started turning red in my hometown. Need to get some warm blankets out of my closet.

After the Halloween craziness, the cities are already in a holiday mood.

I miss warm weather....

But I still am taking surf lessons! Maybe this weekend is the last lesson before I will go back to the beach though..... It's too cold!!!

Window shopping day.

Fringe booties by Mollini

New black basic boots for daily use :)

Since my BOSE earphones broke, I was debating whether or not I will send it to the customer service to get new ones. When I went to the retail store, I found out these new wireless soundsport earphones were released at the end of last month and got these instead!
The sound is so great. I totally recommend these ones if you are looking for good wireless earphones. Also good for iPhone 7 owners since it doesn't have an earphone jack.

As the weather got a bit too cold to dive into the ocean, I decided to start Kaatsu training with my friends. Working hard for the next summer!!!

Although Kaatsu training does not require any change of eating habit, I've been trying to choose healthier food to get better results.

Pure Japanese food is the best eating habit!!

And.... homemade Danish bread. yuuuuum :)

And just one thing that's missing is this fluffy cuteness!
Meaw... ♡

Stay warm and stay healthy!

::Recent Obsession:: Feb. 2016

日本語ver.→HERE

My recent favorites!

The first thing I'm obsessed about is this head dress I got in last month.

.

This is designed and made by Aguri Sagimori
She made many of these head dresses for the POP-UP shop they opened in last month, and I finally got the one in my favorite colors.
My haul blog from last month where I wrote about this head piece on is HERE

I put up some tutorials of two easy hairdos with it.
If you are interested, click HERE to see the details.

I have a beautiful chest which is made of mahogany in my bed room.
My favorite moment of a day is when I burn insence on it while listening to my favorite music before going to bed.

My favorites are bamboo, cherry blossom, citrusy blend, and Japanese red leaves.

And for nails, I always use OPI nail lacquers.
I'm so into this beautiful color named "Significant Other."
This reminds me of beautiful wisterias we went to see in last spring.

The blog on my trip to see these beautiful wisterias is HERE

I also love these 007 colors I got from LA last year.

And since the New Years, I'm so into baking chiffon cakes, as all might know already!

It's so easy and you don't have to too much on the ingredients.

It tastes amazing with maple syrup!

This week I invited my aunt other to my place to have lunch with me.
I cooked steamed veggies with homemade sauce, sesame chicken with rice vinegar, tomato soup, and THE chiffon cake!

It's so much fun to cook for someone.
So glad that she loved it!

::Cooking Fun::

日本語ver. HERE

Okay, before getting onto the main subject.....

meaw......

MEAW!!!!!!!!!
(Guess she was thinking "what are you looking at?")

MEAAAAAAAAWWWW !!!!

I just miss them so much!!
Can't wait to see them next month.

So.... recently I started learning some new dishes at my friend's apartment.
She's a great cook and I love everything that she makes.

Last month, we cooked stir-fried spicy pork on rice, my favorite Thai dish.

Also made steamed veggies and sauce to come with them.

Valentine's Day is coming up next month, so the desserts were all made with chocolate!!
(since girls send some chocolate gifts to guys on Valentine's Day in Japan.)

Creamy soft chocolate bites.

Super easy Gateau Chocolat.

Everything was so delicious and it was nice sharing time with some new friends who came over for the cooking lesson.

On just one ordinary day, I cooked myself a dinner after coming back from work.

Simmered chicken with carrot.

Pumpkin salad :)

Chiffon cake!!!
I was really bad at making this kind of cake for some reason, but I finally managed to make the perfect one!
I will try different versions with green tea, British tea, cocoa etc... this year.

It was even better with maple syrup!

At my friend's apartment, this handsome guy always joins us while we cook.

Yep... he wasn't in a good mood when this pic was taken.

Isn't he so handsome?

Thank you for reading.

::First Week::

日本語ver. HERE

First weekend after New Year holidays.
I spent such great time with my family and friends.

On Jan. 9th, my mother and friends came over to Tokyo from Nagano to have a meeting in the morning. They left Nagano around 5 am so that we can make some time to visit Meiji Shrine before the meeting.

Sake barrels.

Making best wishes for the year 2016.

On the next day, I went to a hotel in Odaiba area for the annual family lunch for the New Years.
My uncle plans it on this weekend every year.

Beautiful entrance of Grand Pacific Le Daiba.

.

I wore my mother's kimono again because my grandmother loves seeing the kimono she made for my mother.
I wrote about the details on the total look HERE

Lunch Buffet.

After lunch, we had some tea (wine for my uncle and me) at Hilton.

I always look forward to this New Year meet-up with my family to see how they have been doing.

Before going to Tokyo station to see my grandmother off on the next day, I had great sushi lunch at Tsukiji with my uncle, aunt, little cousin and grandmother.

Tsukiji is the biggest fish market in Tokyo.
It was so busy with travelers in the morning.

Yummy Sushi!!!

I'm so happy to have such a great family who loves to hang out with each other.

Thank you for reading.
