::Tricolor::

日本語ver. → こちら

In this kimono season, I wore kimono for three times in a week.
My friend and I went to an Enka concert last Thursday after work.
I did a quick change into my brand new kimono.

Another washable kimono by agris kimono.
Found this at the special sale this month.

Paired with a tri-color obi.

Collar in pink beige.

Green is turning a bit red...

::Minerals::

日本語ver. → こちら

I had another afternoon tea date during the silver week (holidays) in Ginza.  I was very excited to get another chance to wear a hitoe kimono this year.

Minerals, space, stars... are things I'm so attracted to for many reasons.
This kimono make me think about galaxy and outer space.

But actually this is the silhouette of forests.
Do you see so many trees printed on this kimono?

I paired the kimono with these casual items for the effortless look.

The collar behind my neck pulled deep for a loose mood.

TOTAL LOOK

Deep purple galaxy in shoes.

The nights are getting much cooler for autumn.
I love feeling the drier air outside.

It's already October and the rest of this year will probably pass really quickly.
I wanna make the last quarter happier and filled with more joys :)

::Space Jungle::

日本語ver. → こちら

Last weekend was 4 days holidays called "Silver Week".
Heard many people planned domestic trips with families because of the "Go-To Travel" campaign and hotels in provinces were mostly booked.
Have you travelled recently?

I have some other trips planned next month, so I stayed in Tokyo and went to Ginza in kimono with my new friends.

Why Ginza? Since Ginza Six opened, I really wanted to visit Jotaro Saito.
They have a cafe inside the shop and their ice cream bars and parfait desserts are so beautiful and photogenic.

September is a season of hitoe kimonos.
Every year I don't get to wear all of my hitoe kimonos in this short season. This one with emerald splash has been sleeping inside my closet for a long time.

Small items: collar, obiage, and obijime.

For a casual effortless look, I tied this jungle obi loosely.

This hairdo is my recent favorite! This is super easy and takes just 5mins to create.

TOTAL LOOK.

This is "Jewerly Dessert", their signature desert♡
They change their menu by season, so you can enjoy seasonal fruits every time you visit.
This one was made with huge grapes called "Nagano Purple".
It was so delicious with varieties of flavors mixed inside the wine glass.
Definitely wanna take my friends there again for tea dates.

::Amethyst::

日本語ver. → こちら

After the longest rainy season we had this year, the weather has been really hot in August. During the summer break, we had a plan to travel to Okinawa but the trip was cancelled because of the pandemic.

Instead of the summer trip to the southern island, we came up to the idea to stay one night at a luxurious hotel in Tokyo because it would be a rare experience for us living in Tokyo.

So we booked a room at Westin Tokyo in Ebisu. And made a reservation at a sushi restaurant they have.

At the main entrance of Westin Tokyo.

The room we stayed.
The king room with Tokyo Tower in the view.

Of course, it wasn't for any special occasion like anniversary or anything, but I really wanted to wear this brand-new summer formal kimono tailored for myself this spring. This was definitely the best timing for this kimono♡

Homongi (semi-formal) kimono in amethyst with diamonds.

The reason why I ordered this kimono is that the fabric is polyester and can be washed at home.
Summer in Japan has been getting warmer and more humid by year and it has been very uncomfortable to wear a silk kimono which cannot be easily washed or cleaned during summer.
I'm so happy to have an option to wear a washable kimono for formal occasions.

Love this beautiful gradation of purple.

Obi and small things added to the look.

In the garden of the hotel.

Zouris in the matching color.

The sushi dinner was amazing and delicious.
During this stay home period, there have been much less occasions to drink alcohol. But the pairing with white wines and sake was amazing.
After dinner, we had cocktails at the bar.
It was nice to have an unordinary day in Tokyo.
