::Zigzag Border::

日本語ver. → こちら

Because of the global pandemic, the exhibition "KIMONO" at Tokyo National Museum was postponed about two months.
Thanks to the invitation by "KIMONO BIJIN", I became aware of this postponed exhibition.
I asked some of my kimono friends to join me to see it in yukata or kimono.

To take measures to the COVID-19 situation, the museum set the maximum number of people who can enter by every 30 mins. The entrance reservation can be made online HERE.

The weather forecast was saying that it was going to rain that day. But luckily it didn't rain while we are outside.
Because of the reservation system the museum installed, the entire space was not so crowded and we could take time and slowly look around inside.

I wore a rainforest summer kimono.

The whole exhibition was so impressive and exciting.
They are currently fundraising for reproduction of antique kimonos with inkjet printing on silk fabric. Sounds so exciting!
This exhibition is definitely a must-see!

::Berry Lime::

日本語ver. → こちら

We had a small photoshoot event at Asakusa on the first weekend this month.
It is already in the middle of rainy season, but luckily the weather was not so bad in the morning.

Season of hydrangeas was almost over but some white ones were in full bloom along the river in Asakusa.
The forecast said heavy rain was passing through around noon so I wore a washable yukata.

After 30 mins of shooting, the rain started to get stronger so we went to a cafe for coffee after two shooting spots.

Summer jungle look with tint of berry.

TOTAL LOOK.

The fabric of this yukata is super light and dries very fast so this is very comfortable for humid and rainy days.

Shoes and hair piece.

Portraits by Photo-bee.
The shooting was fun and it was very nice to meet new people.
Lunch after the shooting was relaxing and we had nice Japanese style meal with homemade miso paste. It was such a healthy fun day!

<my summer sale haul>
With the rainy days, summer sales started everywhere.
I just found the cute tote bag in my favorite color at Marc Jacobs.

Summer is finally here and hoping to get more changes to wear kimono this summer★
