Hope everyone had wonderful holidays and the New Years.
I did not wear a kimono for this New Years like I usually do for the first visit to the shrine every year.
I was looking for a chance to go out in kimono after the break. Then, my kimono friend texted me and we went out for a lunch date in kimono.
For the first look of 2020, I wore the brand new kimono and obi that I bought in last September.
The modern kimono and accessories I got at the special sale★
Lacey casual kimono in light lavender.
Border obi with white leopard pattern.
Collar, obiage, and obijime★
Shoes.
With the black coat to beat the cold.
TOTAL LOOK.
For lunch, Chihiro and I had delicious French galettes★
The course meal came with buckwheat galette with salmon and dessert crepes with lemon butter sauce♡
The cafe was decorated with very unique items.
The last time we had lunch together was a year ago, so there was a lot to catch up. It was nice to have some relaxing time in our favorite kimonos together.
Hope I can wear kimonos more often this year.
