Meaw!!!

Grrrrrr. 

I went to take a peak at another antique kimono market last weekend.

Me playing around at the market...  :P

I found this pineapple kimono at an antique market a couple of years ago. It is really rare to find white based kimono like this with no stein. Lucky Me!

Scale obi to spice up the look.

The collar is my current favorite from Sumire Ishioka.

Love this European feel that this kimono has.

I took these photos with this bouquet because my friends came over to my place the day before and brought about 10 of them for me. Thanks, guys :)

I just wanted to save these beautiful flowers in photos. 

Total look. Good contrast between light yellow and black.

It was pretty warm during the day but still gets chilly after sunset.

So I was wearing C.H.O.C.O x agris jacket.

Last weekend, my friend from Kyoto came over to Tokyo.

He brought his own beautiful kimono which he hand-dyed, so we walked around in the central area of Tokyo in kimono.

Yama-sakura was still in bloom.

The kimono I found at the second-hand kimono shop.

This bakit-ish pattern looks like leopard from a distance.

Paired with this collage obi.

The collar has leopard pattern weaved. It looks really subtle from a distance but I love it.

The scarf (obi-age) also has leopard pattern printed.

Mish-mash tie.

I finally got to wear the butterfly head piece.

After lunch, we went to a museum to see the beautiful exhibition of Haute Couture.

There were so many dresses to look at.

Cameras were allowed only in this room. 

Although it was a bit too late for cherry blossom viewing, there were some kinds of sakura trees and other flowers in bloom in the park called Hamarikyu.

Hamarikyu is located in the middle of concrete jungle and has beautiful Japanese style garden inside.

I WAS HAPPY.

Yellow rape blossoms were in bloom as well.

It was still a bit chilly in the evening but the weather was good enough to walk around in kimono.

::Sakura 2016::

The last weekend was the last chance to see sakura blossoms in Tokyo this year.

Most of cherry blossoms in Tokyo bloom at the same time and flowers fall down very quickly in like a week or two.

Here are the cherry blossoms I got to see this year.

March 31st at Yasukuni Shrine and Chidorigafuchi.

Yasukuni Shrine is a very fun place to visit during cherry blossom season because there are so many food stalls to get some nice food.

We had wonderful dinner time!

Sakura trees by the water are lit up like this and they are so beautiful.

My friends and I had a huge cherry blossom party at Yoyogi park on April 2nd, but the party was soooo fun that I forgot to take photos of blossoms...... So yeah, let's skip it.....

On the next day, April 3rd, CHII and I went to the Meguro river, one of the most famous and popular place in Tokyo for cherry blossom viewing.

It was soooo crowded with so many people who came to see the beautiful sakura.

Last year, I came here at night and it was so beautiful as well.

The variety of most of cherry blossom trees in Tokyo is called Somei Yoshino. This is why the sakura season in Tokyo lasts only about a week. They bloom and fall all at once.

Last weekend, my friend came over to Tokyo from Kyoto.

It was a little bit too late for Somei Yoshino but we got to see few other variety of sakura still in bloom in Hamarikyu.

I love the flowery season we have in Japan.

It makes me wanna step out and dance♪
