::African Festival::

日本語 ver. → こちら

Just a super ordinary Sunday.
After a dance practice with my friends in the morning, I headed to Yoyogi park to see if there was some festival going on there. (Usually they have some event / festival / flea market on every weekend. )
I found out they were having the antique market and African festival last weekend.

It was not as crowded as Thai festival which is so crazy with lots of people every year.

Found some funny items they sell on the street.

Cute shiba.

Hot dog truck.

When I got there, they were having a dance show on the main stage.

African food with beer, anyone?

Wall art.

It was such a beautiful sunny day during this rainy season.
Instead of African food, I was craving for something spicy....

Mexican food!!!
Spicy beef burrito with beer. Perfect :)

And.... this is nothing to do with the African fes but I just learned the recipe of delicious granola salad from my friend last week.
This salad will be my obsession for a while!

Thank you for reading.

::Shiny Days::

日本語ver. → こちら

More beer and meat on the 2nd half of Golden Week!!!
Who could resist having cold beer on shiny days??

On May 3rd, I had our favorite Brazilian barbecue at Barbacoa with my mother, brother and his girlfriend. My mother planned this dinner to celebrate my brother who just graduated from a vet school and started his career.

What I love about this restaurant is they have variety of veggies and fruits that you can take from the counter.

Yum!!!!!

It was a bit early but my brother and I got some Mother's day gifts for our loving mother.
Thank you and love you lots, Mom :)

On the other day, my friends and I went to have some futsal games.
137 people came to play!!!!

It was such a beautiful sunny day.
Actually my friend and I were bench warmers to cheer our other friends who played, but still we got tanned a little.

My friends' team won the first prize among 13 teams! Congrats!

Sunset on the way to the crazy after-party with about 200 people.

On the last weekend of Golden Week, my friends and I went on a picnic at Yoyogi park.
They were having three different festivals at the park on the weekend.
Tokyo Rainbow Pride (LGBT festival), Salsa Street, and Cambodia Festival.

The main stage of Cambodia Festival.
Girls were Cambodian girls were performing beautiful traditional dance there.

I love food from festival stalls like this.

More Brazilian barbecue from Salsa Street Festival.

MEAT!!!

Salsa on the street :)
The whole street was full of happy mood.

Happy lunch party under the sun!!

After feeding ourselves, we walked into the calm and peaceful area of the park.

Roses in various colors in bloom.

.

I was wearing my Elizabeth and James heels :)

I had soooo much fun during this GW.
Too much beer and delicious food made me put on some weight for sure.

I will try to eat healthy for the next couple of weeks!

Thank you for reading.

::OCEAN PEOPLES 2015::

日本語ver. HERE

SUMMER HEAT IS HERE!!!
Hope this is the end of rainy season. It was so hot like over 30 degrees C last weekend.
I was so happy to see the sun out.
My friend and I went to grab our lunch at OCEAN PEOPLE '15 which was held at Yoyogi Park.
It is a "save-the-ocean" festival run by a NPO.

They had about 20 of cute beachy shops.
It was so much fun just looking around.

Our lunch!!!

Who says no to beer in this summer heat????

Beachy photo frames.

Beachy bracelets.

Beachy art pieces.

I love their bracelets and already own about 10 of them.
They were having a temporarily sale!

Flipflop shops where you can choose the soles and straps to make your own pair.

We got matching pairs!!
The one with pink straps is mine.
They are only 1,080 yen a pair!! What a deal!

They also had live music performances on the stage but we didn't have much time to stay for that... Maybe next year!!!
It was such a nice day which made me feel summer is finally here in Tokyo!

Thank you for reading.
